Whilst Béara became affiliated with Cork County Board in 1927, it was many years before clubs in the division had their own pitch. Páirc Gairinis is located Cahermore. With the generous help of parishioners, a great church gate collection all over Béara, lotto grants raffles and interest-free loans, the Garnish grounds were officially opened in 1997.
