Garnish G.A.A announce first fund-raising event of 2021

Garnish G.A.A are glad to announce our first fundraising event of 2021. A 24 hour walk/jog/run with proceeds being split between Garnish GAA and St.Joseph’s Community Hospital Castletownbere. Garnish GAA would like to acknowledge the work being done by the staff of St. Joseph’s hospital and we appreciate all they do for members of our parish and the wider Beara community.
This event will take place on the 20th of February. Beginning at 6am and over the proceeding 24 hours Garnish players, former players and management will do an hour of exercise each at Cahermore Pitch. The distance covered by the team will represent the ‘longest road ‘ between two GAA clubs in a county , Garnish GAA and Youghal GAA. We ask the people of the wider community to get behind the team by completing an hour of exercise themselves , posting on social media, tagging Garnish G.A.A. and using the #thelongestroad. We are asking for a small donation of 10 euro per person which can be made via https://www.idonate.ie/fun…/11397414_the-longest-road.html
We ask everyone participating to adhere to the current covid restrictions and guidelines.
We encourage everyone to share this event among friends and family and to support our club and St. Joseph’s Hospital. #thelongestroad
