The ICRR Air Ambulance is committed to providing safe, effective, and timely emergency medical care to those seriously ill or injured. It offers paramedic support and transport to hospital . The  Air Ambulance can bring casualties to the hospital that best suits their life saving needs, not just the closest geographically.  From its base in North Cork, the Air Ambulance can put a 25,000km2 area within 30 minutes of emergency medical care. The ICRR Air Ambulance is staffed by advanced paramedics and EMTs from the National Ambulance Service.

On 26th February,  all call members and the wider community are invited to walk for one hour around our club grounds Páirc Gairinis in Cahermore, or elsewhere . The LONGEST ROAD fundraising initiative will cover a 24 hour period in which the funds will be split between the Club and ICRR Air Ambulance.

For Garnish GAA, funds raised will go towards the running of the our juvenile and adult games as well maintenance of our club grounds. Each ICRR Air Ambulance missions costs on average €3500 so funds will contribute to a variety of missions responding to Cardiac Arrest, General Trauma, Falls from Heights and Road Traffic Accidents

Last summer the ICRR Air Ambulance was called to Cahermore to assist an injured player. Within 1/2 that patient had been air-lifted to Cork.
